Judge: Julie Cartwright (Borgstaff)

I would like to thank the officers and committee members for their vote to give me the opportunity to judge this prestigious show, running alongside Birmingham National Championship Show.

Thank you to my ring stewards Kerry Fulford and Kaine Davis who did a fantastic job and kept everything flowing in the ring. The atmosphere around the ring was fantastic, thank you for taking my decisions sportingly.

The quality of the dogs/bitches was outstanding, it was an absolute honour to lay my hands on Champions, Junior Champions and show Champions and all entries. I would like to thank everybody who entered their dog under me, as we all know, money is tight at the moment and I really do appreciate the chance to have gone over each and every one of your dogs.

I went through a full range of emotions whilst judging but have to say I was super proud of both my final line ups, to be honest my heart skipped a beat! What a fantastic breed we all love! Mouths on the whole were good, so not mentioned in my critique.
