Judge David Cartwright (Borgstaff).

Firstly I would like to thank the committee, officers and members of the SBTC for inviting me to judge this prestigious open show. An excellent entry awaited me, my job was made easier by my stewards on the day, Debbie Saunt and Julie Cartwright and the committee members who kept the ring flowing, as timing was crucial.

The exhibits on show had quality in abundance, making some of my decisions difficult in some of the classes. Many of the exhibits were in top condition, but some stripped too fine and I would have preferred more covering, teeth were generally good, a few dirty, this can easily be sorted and should be when making your dog ready to exhibit, feet have improved since I last judged and movement on the whole was good.

Thank you to everyone for their entries and the hard work of the SBTC committee for making the ring look fantastic, as always. The brilliant atmosphere around the ring made my day even more enjoyable.
